Refund Policy. Clear before checkout.

Direct purchases run through Paddle as merchant of record. This page explains our 14-day refund policy, how to ask for one, and what happens to Pro afterward.

  • 01

    The short version

Ask within 14 calendar days of buying and you get a full refund. Paddle is the merchant of record for direct purchases and handles the actual payment, tax, and refund processing.

Nothing in this policy reduces mandatory consumer rights where you live.

  • 02

    Try before buying

The free version exists so you can test MultiTrim on your own files before paying. Check that it recognizes your files, writes outputs where you expect, and fits your workflow.

  • 03

    How to request

Email [email protected] with your purchase email and Paddle transaction reference, or go through Paddle order support. Do not send full card numbers.

If you bought through an app store, request the refund there instead. Stores control their own payment systems.

For volume or invoiced purchases, the signed order form or written agreement may control refunds.

  • 04

    After 14 days

Late requests are reviewed case by case. A refund is likely when Pro cannot be activated after troubleshooting, you were charged twice, the charge was unauthorized, or a bug we cannot fix blocks normal use.

A refund is unlikely for change of mind, unsupported formats, missing backups, or evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or license tampering.

Discounts and price changes do not create a right to a refund or price adjustment unless the law requires one.

  • 05

    Timing

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. How fast the money posts depends on your bank or payment provider, not on us.

If Paddle collected tax, Paddle handles the tax refund under its own process.

  • 06

    After a refund

A refunded, reversed, or charged-back purchase can have its Pro license revoked. You can keep using the free version.

Deactivating a license inside the app only removes Pro from that installation. It does not create a refund or reverse a payment.

  • 07

    Disputes

If you do not recognize a charge, contact [email protected] or Paddle before opening a chargeback. It is usually faster, and sometimes the problem is just licensing or compatibility.

Chargebacks can suspend the related license while the dispute is reviewed. We may share transaction and license records with Paddle, banks, or authorities to resolve a dispute or prevent abuse.

    Changes

When we update this policy, the latest version stays on this page with the date above. Requests are reviewed under the policy in effect when you bought.
